Which winter jackets are suitable for trail and enduro?

For trail and enduro in winter, insulated, more robust jackets with a wind-resistant front and reinforced zones on the shoulders are suitable; besides protection from the cold, they also withstand contact with branches and occasional crashes on slippery winter terrain better.

Large vent zips under the arms allow quick adjustment between climbs and descents.

A looser fit than on road winter jackets offers extra freedom of movement for the body-driven riding style on technical, often slippery terrain and leaves enough room for a back protector worn underneath.

Reflective elements on the sleeves and back also increase visibility, as winter forest rides end at dusk more often than summer rides.
