Sleeveless jerseys are a niche product and are therefore often especially well represented in the sale. People wear them mostly on very hot days and in training.

Sleeveless jerseys at a glance

When buying, look at the armhole. It is the spot where the models differ most: wide-cut armholes ventilate better, but they are more likely to cut in on stronger upper arms. Flat-finished edges matter more here than on short sleeve jerseys, because the hem sits directly on the skin.

Think of sun protection. Without sleeves, shoulders and upper arms get the full midday sun, and cyclists apply sunscreen to exactly these spots least often.
