Which headwear is suitable for gravel rides?
For gravel rides, thin caps under the helmet and multifunctional scarves are suitable. The cap absorbs sweat on climbs, while the scarf protects your neck and the back of your neck and serves as dust protection on dry tracks.
On dusty gravel roads, you can pull the multifunctional scarf over your mouth and nose, for example when several riders are riding one behind the other. In summer, a cycling cap with a short peak protects you from the sun. For cool mornings, there are warmer models that add hardly any bulk under the helmet.
If you often ride on open farm tracks, you should also think about sun protection for the back of your neck.
Tip: Wear the multifunctional scarf around your neck so that it is within easy reach. This way, you can quickly pull it up when it gets dusty.
