Vaude bib shorts are designed for men who ride longer distances with a chamois pad on a road bike, gravel bike or mountain bike. The straps keep the shorts in place even in a bent-over riding position, without a waistband constricting your waist.

With bib shorts, three areas work together: chamois pad, leg grippers and straps. The pad cushions the pressure on your sit bones and should suit the length of ride you are planning. The leg grippers stop the shorts from riding up when you pedal. Wide, elastic straps spread the tension evenly over your shoulders.
Vaude comes from the outdoor world, and this shows in cuts that also work on tours with luggage and in changing conditions. Some shorts are available with matching tops in a set.
Tip: Do not wear underpants under bib shorts. The chamois pad sits directly on the skin; otherwise seams and friction develop in the most sensitive areas.
