ASSOS cycling jackets for men
The wind jacket is the lightest version, packs away compactly and is intended for descents and cool hours. The thermal jacket insulates continuously and takes the place of the jersey in winter. The rain jacket keeps out precipitation and is less breathable as a result.
The close fit prevents flapping at high speed. With winter jackets it also has a functional purpose: the less air is exchanged between jacket and body, the less heat is lost.
Tip: A wind jacket does not replace a rain jacket. Windproof material keeps out brief drizzle, but soaks through in continuous rain and then cools you down faster than no jacket at all.
