Why a one-piece suit?

There is no hem to ride up, and nothing flutters in the headwind. That is why one-piece suits are common in time trials, triathlon and fast races.

The disadvantage is handling: for a break, you have to open the whole suit. For long rides, many riders therefore prefer a jersey and bib shorts.

Tip: Try on Santini one-piece suits with a close fit. The suit should fit in the bent-over riding position, not when standing.
