Gloves are wear parts. The padding gets thinner, the seams on the palm wear through, and after two seasons at the latest a pair is worn out. Buying a spare pair in advance makes more sense for this product group than for almost any other.
About the size: measure the circumference of your hand below the knuckles, without the thumb. Roeckl uses intermediate sizes, which makes the choice more precise, but also more difficult with remaining stock.
