Which cycling glasses are suitable for trail and enduro?

For trail and enduro, cycling glasses with a generous protective area and a robust frame are suitable; they reliably protect your eyes from branches, flying scree and dust on fast, technical descents – with a greater focus on protection than the more aerodynamically optimised glasses used in road cycling.

Interchangeable lenses adapt to different light conditions, from dark tints for sunny trails to clear or lightly tinted versions for shady forest sections and dusk. A non-slip nose pad ensures a secure hold even when you sweat heavily during intense descents.

Many models are also designed to be compatible with helmets, so you can combine glasses and helmet without either one impairing the ventilation.

A slightly larger field of view than with road glasses also makes it easier to quickly spot obstacles such as roots or stones in your peripheral vision.

Tip: For changing light in the forest, choose glasses with interchangeable or photochromic lenses instead of carrying a separate model for every light situation.
