What matters

A cycling backpack sits close to your back so that it does not sway in corners and on descents. Many Scott models have room for a hydration bladder, tools, a spare tube and a jacket. On longer rides, a hip belt that distributes the weight onto your pelvis helps.

Tip: Stow heavy items such as tools at the bottom and close to your back. This keeps the centre of gravity low.
