The cycling cap and the under-helmet cap from Gobik are both worn under the helmet, but they do different jobs.
Cycling cap or under-helmet cap?
The classic fabric cycling cap has a short peak. Pulled down, it keeps low sun and raindrops out of your face; flipped up, it does not get in the way when you look ahead in a bent-over position. Worn under the helmet, the peak stays visible between your forehead and the edge of the helmet.
An under-helmet cap is a thin hood that fits closely to the head. Depending on the material, it keeps you warm on cool days or absorbs sweat in summer before it runs into your eyes. Because it is so thin, it hardly changes how the helmet fits. In the cold, it also covers the ears, which are otherwise exposed under the helmet.
Tip: After putting on a cap or under-helmet cap, readjust the helmet closure. Even a thin layer of fabric changes how firmly the helmet sits.
