A thin transtex base layer absorbs sweat and stops your jersey from clinging wet and cold to your body on descents. Transtex Warm is thicker and designed for autumn and winter, usually under a long sleeve jersey or a winter jacket.
Long sleeve base layers are the first layer on cold days. Under a jacket, they often replace an extra long sleeve jersey.
Tip: A thin base layer is worth it in summer too. It keeps your jersey drier, and your upper body cools down less on descents.
