Giro d'Italia 2026 – Teams, Jerseys & Classification Jerseys at Bobshop
Three weeks, 21 stages, a dream in pink. The Giro d'Italia 2026 is making cycling history even before the first stage has been ridden: on 8 May, the 109th edition starts for the first time in Bulgaria – in the ancient UNESCO city of Nessebar on the Black Sea. From there, the route leads over 3,459 kilometres and 49,150 metres of elevation gain to the finale on 31 May in Rome.
In this category you will find at Bobshop all official Giro classification jerseys by Castelli as well as the kits of the participating pro teams – each as the Original Race Version and as a Replica.
The Giro d'Italia 2026 at a glance
The Giro d'Italia has been the most emotionally intense of all Grand Tours since 1909 and is regarded by connoisseurs as the most unpredictable three-week race in the world. The 109th edition takes the peloton across 21 stages: eight flat stages for the sprinters, seven medium-mountain stages, five mountain stages with seven summit finishes, and a 40.2-km individual time trial on the Tuscan coast near Viareggio.
The queen stage goes over the Passo Giau (2,236 m) – the Cima Coppi of the race. Everything you need to know about the route, elevation profiles and key tactical moments can be found in our detailed Bobshop Peloton blog post about the Giro d'Italia 2026.
The favourites for the Maglia Rosa 2026
Top favourite for the overall victory is Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) – the Dane is aiming for a historic Giro–Tour double, last achieved by Tadej Pogačar in 2024. He is still missing only the Giro in his Grand Tour collection.
The competition is strong, however: UAE Team Emirates XRG fields João Almeida and Adam Yates, two formidable contenders. Also in the mix are the 2022 Giro winner Jai Hindley (Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe), the 2021 Giro winner Egan Bernal (INEOS Grenadiers) and the 2019 Giro winner Richard Carapaz (EF Education – EasyPost). Mikel Landa (Soudal–Quick-Step) and the rising Giulio Pellizzari (Red Bull) should also be kept in mind.
The Giro d'Italia classification jerseys – made by Castelli
All four official Giro d'Italia classification jerseys are made by Castelli – the official outfitter of the race since 2018. The Italian heritage brand replaced Santini back then, which had produced the jersey from 1993 to 2017. You can find all official Giro jerseys at Bobshop both as the Race Version (identical to the pros’ jersey) and as the more attractively priced, less aggressively cut Replica:
Maglia Rosa – the pink jersey of the overall leader. The iconic colour goes back to the Gazzetta dello Sport, which founded the Giro in 1909 and was printed on pink paper. Learco Guerra wore the first Maglia Rosa in 1931.
Maglia Ciclamino – the cyclamen jersey for the best sprinter. With eight flat stages, the Giro 2026 offers plenty of opportunities for sprint duels – Jonathan Milan (Lidl–Trek), Kaden Groves and Dylan Groenewegen are among the main candidates.
Maglia Azzurra – the blue mountains jersey for the King of the Mountains. The Passo Giau, as the Cima Coppi of the race, offers the most points.
Maglia Bianca – the white jersey for the best young rider under 25. Many later Giro winners wore it before their great triumph.
You can find the full selection under Giro d'Italia classification jerseys .
