PAC headbands come in airy and warmer versions.

Which headband for what

A headband leaves the top of your head free, where most heat escapes under the helmet. That is why you overheat less on climbs than with a hat. Airy mesh headbands are suited to summer, and merino wool versions to cooler days.

Tip: In spring and autumn, carry a thin headband in your jersey pocket. It keeps your ears warm on the descent and weighs almost nothing.
