Alé base layers for men
All of them wick sweat from the skin to the jersey, where it evaporates. The sleeve length determines less the warmth than the area over which this transport takes place — which is why a base layer makes sense even in high summer and is not extra ballast.
The fabric fits skin-tight. A loose-fitting base layer loses its function because there is no skin contact, which is what makes the transport possible in the first place.
Tip: Do not wash technical underwear with fabric softener.
