Gore Wear winter gloves for men keep your fingers warm in the cold. In winter, your hands are the most sensitive area, because they rest still on the handlebar, generate hardly any muscle heat and are directly in the wind as you ride.

How warm does a winter glove need to be?

A thick glove keeps you warm but makes braking and shifting more difficult. A thin glove gives you more feel but cools down faster. At Gore Wear, some models use WINDSTOPPER, which keeps out the wind without the glove having to be very thick.

Many cyclists have two pairs in winter: a thinner one for temperatures around 10 °C and a thicker one for frost. This way, you can adapt the warmth to the weather better than with a single glove.

Tip: Use two pairs of winter gloves in rotation. This way, a dry pair is ready before every ride.
