Cycling tights are winter goods and are therefore mostly discounted toward the end of the cold season. This does not change the function, as the cut stays similar over the years.
Cycling tights at a glance
You should tell two versions apart. Thermal tights with a brushed inner side are meant for temperatures below about 10°C. Unlined cycling tights cover the transition range and also suit cool summer evenings. Both look almost the same in the product photo.
If you ride a lot in winter, you gain more from a second pair of tights than from any other extra piece. They rarely dry overnight, and damp tights the next morning reliably ruin the ride.
