Winter shoes for the road
A winter shoe has a higher cuff than a summer shoe and seals closely at the ankle. That keeps out spray and cold air, which otherwise get in quickly at high speed on the road.
Tip: Pull cycling tights over the cuff of the winter shoe, not inside it. Otherwise rainwater runs down the tights straight into the shoe.
