Gore Wear long bib tights for men are the winter tights for road and gravel riding. They reach to the ankle, have a chamois pad and are held by straps, so that your lower back stays covered even in a stretched-out position.

How warm do winter tights need to be?

Your legs work constantly when you cycle and generate heat. This is why they need less insulation than your upper body and hands. Long bib tights with a brushed inside are enough on many winter days. For frost or cold, wet weather, there are models with a windproof front, at Gore Wear for example with WINDSTOPPER.

With long bib tights, it is worth looking at the leg endings. A zip at the ankle makes it easier to pull them on over your heel, and a stirrup under the foot keeps the leg down.

Tip: Pull the overshoes over the leg of the tights. This way, the strap under the sole holds the leg down and no wind gets in at the ankle.
