Vaude overshoes are pulled over your cycling shoes and cover the ventilation openings. This makes a summer shoe suitable for autumn as well. For winter, there are lined models, and for rain, water-repellent ones.
Tip: Pull your trousers over the overshoes, not under them. Otherwise, water runs into your shoe.
