Gore Wear summer gloves for men are designed for warm days. They are usually short-fingered so that your fingers stay free and your hands do not overheat.

Why wear gloves in summer?

In summer, your hands sweat, and sweaty hands slip on the handlebar. A glove with a grippy palm provides a secure hold, above all on cobblestones or on fast descents. Padding in the palm can ease the pressure on the nerves that run there and lead to numb fingers on long rides. And in a crash, the glove protects your palms from abrasions.

If you ride off-road, you often choose thin long-finger gloves even in summer, because they protect your fingers on contact with branches and rocks.

Tip: Summer gloves should fit closely but not constrict your fingers. Make a fist when you try them on; the fabric must not be tight over the back of your hand.
