Light protection on the go

A wind jacket is the thinnest jacket in cycling. It folds up small and can be carried in your jersey pocket until you need it, for example at the top of a pass before the descent or when there is still fog in the morning. It does not help against prolonged rain; that is what rain jackets are for.

A Nalini wind jacket sits between a long sleeve jersey and a winter jacket.

Tip: At the top of a pass, zip up your wind jacket before you roll off. Your sweaty upper body cools down most in the first few minutes.
