ASSOS cycling underpants for men are worn under shorts without a chamois pad, for example under baggy MTB shorts or everyday trousers. They are thin, flat and made with few seams so that no additional edge forms.
ASSOS underpants for men
Under cycling shorts or bib shorts with a chamois pad, however, you do not wear underpants: they are worn directly on the skin. Two layers on top of each other shift against each other and create exactly the friction that the pad is meant to prevent.
For longer rides in shorts without a pad, models with their own chamois pad are the better choice.
Tip: Normal underwear is not an alternative on the bike. Its seams run across the seat area and, after about an hour in the saddle, are the most likely cause of a sore spot.
