Which glove for which cold?

Softshell is a stretchy, windproof material that stays comfortable when you move. Softshell gloves, for example from rh+, suit temperatures at which it is mainly the headwind that chills your fingers. Thicker models are designed for wet or very cold days.

Tip: In sub-zero temperatures, wear a thin liner glove under your winter glove. Your fingers then stay flexible enough for shifting and braking.
