When a wind jacket is enough
A wind jacket like the ones from rh+ has no warming inner layer. It is designed for descents, windy days and cool mornings in spring and summer, when a winter jacket would be too warm. Folded up, it usually fits in a jersey pocket and can come along on every ride.
Tip: Put on the wind jacket before the descent, while you are still warm from the climb. Once you have cooled down, you will hardly warm up again on the descent.
