The models use impact-resistant lenses and a rimless or semi-rimless design that leaves the field of view downwards open. This is important in a bent-over position on a road bike, where you look over the edge. The lenses are interchangeable, so you can use the same frame for sun, overcast skies and dusk.
The fit of the nose pads and arms decides whether the glasses stay in place on rough ground or slowly slide down.
Tip: In changeable weather, a set of interchangeable lenses is the more space-saving solution than a second pair of glasses; lenses fit flat in the jersey pocket, a complete frame does not.
