When is a long-sleeve jersey the right choice?

A long-sleeve jersey covers the transitional season, when a short-sleeve jersey would be too cool and a jacket too warm. On mild autumn days or on spring mornings, it is often enough on its own or with a gilet over it. When it gets colder, you can wear it as a second layer under a wind jacket or thermal jacket.

How warm a model is depends on the fabric and differs between the Gobik series. Thin long-sleeve jerseys mainly protect your arms from sun and wind, while thicker fabrics with a brushed inside keep you warm even at single-digit temperatures. If you are looking for just one long-sleeve jersey for the whole transitional season, choose a mid-weight model and regulate the rest with a gilet and warmers.

Tip: In changeable weather, the combination of a long-sleeve jersey and a wind gilet has proven itself. The gilet protects you on the descent and then fits in your back pocket.
