The classic cycling cap

The peaked cap is worn under the helmet. The peak keeps sun and light rain away from your eyes, and the thin fabric absorbs sweat before it runs onto your forehead. Many riders also wear it in the café after the ride.

Santini has been making cycling clothing in Italy for decades, and the cycling cap is part of the traditional kit there.

Tip: In the rain, bend the peak down a little. The water then drips off in front of your glasses.
