In mountain biking, most riders wear gloves even in summer, because they protect the hands in falls and provide grip on the handlebars.

Long fingers in summer?

On the road, short-finger gloves are common in summer. Off-road, on the other hand, many riders reach for thin long-finger gloves. ION comes from this scene and designs its gloves for trail and enduro.

What matters is a thin palm that gives you a good feel for the handlebars, and a material on the fingertips that lets you operate a touchscreen, if the manufacturer states this.

Tip: After muddy rides, rinse your gloves briefly and let them air-dry. Dried mud makes the palm stiff.
