Gore Wear wind jackets for women are the light protective layer against the wind as you ride.

When is a wind jacket enough?

A wind jacket keeps out the wind as you ride, but hardly insulates. It is designed for days that are cool but not cold, for the descent after a long climb or as a reserve for the weather in the afternoon. Light models fold down small and fit in your jersey pocket. Some wind jackets help against a shower, but for prolonged rain you need a rain jacket.

On cold days, you need a thermal jacket instead of a wind jacket.

Tip: It is not worth buying a wind jacket one size larger. It then flaps and slows you down instead of protecting you.
