Mountain tradition and Vuelta
Spanish cycling has historically been closely linked to the mountains.
The national jersey uses strong red and yellow, usually as a horizontal division based on the flag. This makes it clearly identifiable in the bunch, even from a distance.
The national jersey must not be confused with the red leader's jersey of the Vuelta. Both use strong red, but stand for completely different things: one for the national squad, the other for the overall classification of a single stage race. If you collect both, check the product name, because the photos look similar. Gobik also produces special editions more often than Inverse.
Gobik and Inverse use different cuts. Gobik is closer to a race cut, Inverse is a little more moderate; this matters if you choose between the two versions.
