Flat or clipless?
Flat pedal shoes from ION grip the pins of platform pedals and can be taken off the pedal at any time, which many riders appreciate in the bike park and on technical trails. Clipless shoes have a mount for cleats and connect your foot to the pedal, which is more efficient on climbs. For off-road use, they have a treaded sole so that you can also push and walk.
Tip: Test flat pedal shoes with your own pedals. Not every sole has the same grip with every pin pattern.
