Cages for different needs
The cages differ in design and price. If you have little space above the bottle cage in a small frame, check before you buy whether you can pull the bottle out vertically. For such cases, there are side-entry cages.
All cages are fixed with two bolts to the threaded holes in the frame. They fit bottles with the usual diameter of about 74 millimetres.
Tip: On gravel and cobblestones, you are most likely to lose a bottle from a worn-out cage. If the bottle comes out easily, it is time for a new one.
