HAD balaclavas for women cover your head, neck and part of your face. They are the headwear for cold days when a cap and neck scarf alone are not enough.

When to wear a balaclava?

At temperatures around freezing and below, your face and neck cool down a lot on the bike, because the wind as you ride intensifies the cold. A balaclava protects these areas in one piece and can be worn under the helmet. You can usually push the face section under your chin when it gets warm uphill.

If you wear glasses, make sure that your breath does not rise up onto the lenses. A mouth area made of airy fabric helps with this.

Tip: Put on the balaclava before your jacket. Then the neck section lies under the collar and no cold gap stays open.
