The men's gilets from Gobik include wind gilets and thermal gilets, among others.

Wind gilet or thermal gilet?

A wind gilet is thin and folds up small. It comes out of your jersey pocket on a fresh morning or before the descent and goes back in as soon as it gets warmer. Your arms stay free, and it protects your chest and stomach, which take the most headwind.

A thermal gilet is designed for warmth and is usually worn for the whole ride, for example over a long-sleeve jersey on cold autumn days. It is bulkier and does not fit in every jersey pocket. If you mainly ride in spring and summer, a wind gilet is usually enough. If you ride into the winter, you use the thermal gilet as a permanent warm layer.

Tip: A wind gilet should fit closely. If it is too loose, it flutters and balloons at speed.
