Winter gloves for XC mountain biking

Longer cuffs keep cold air out between the sleeve and the glove, and non-slip details on the inside of the fingers provide secure grip on the handlebars even in wintry wet and slush.

A reinforced back of the hand also offers some protection if you crash on frozen or uneven ground, which happens more often in winter than in dry summer weather.

Tip: On very cold days, take a second, dry pair of gloves in your backpack. Damp gloves hardly keep you warm any more.
