ASSOS cycling base layers for men are the first layer under a jersey or jacket. They transport sweat away from the skin to the outside, where it can evaporate.
ASSOS base layers for men
The fine-mesh fabric fits skin-tight and comes in a sleeveless or short-sleeve cut so that it adds no bulk under the jersey. In summer, it is about a drier feeling on the skin; in winter, a denser version also provides insulation under the jacket.
Because the base layer lies directly on your skin, flat seams decide whether you can wear it for hours without noticing it. Models with few seams are the obvious choice for sensitive skin.
Tip: Wash technical underwear without fabric softener. Fabric softener leaves a film on the fibres and reduces precisely the moisture transport you bought the base layer for.
