Gore Wear headbands for women cover your forehead and ears and leave the top of your head free.

Which headband for which temperature?

The names follow the Gore Wear classification: Light is the thin version for cool mornings and the transitional season, Thermo the warmer one, Windstopper the windproof one for cold wind as you ride. Under the helmet, a headband has an advantage over a closed cap: your head can release heat through the helmet vents while your ears stay warm.

Headbands also go well with a ponytail, because they are open at the back. You can wear them for running just as on the bike.

Tip: If you sweat quickly uphill, push the headband up a little on the climb and pull it back over your ears before the descent.
