The longer leg mainly keeps your knee warm. The knee is hardly protected by muscle and is therefore particularly sensitive to cold.
The chamois pad is the same as in the other Bobclub shorts.
Tip: Smooth out the leg endings when you put the shorts on. Folded-over silicone bands start to press after a while.
