Under Energy Gels, you will find the gels from the Dutch brand Amacx, some with and some without caffeine.
Amacx energy gels
Gels deliver a concentrated portion of fast-acting carbohydrates for acute needs — before a climb, or in the final phase of a race when reserves are running low. You can carry several of the compact packs in your jersey pocket.
Every gel needs water. Without fluid, the concentrated sugar solution stays in your stomach, and this is exactly what causes the complaints that many people blame on gels.
Tip: Save caffeinated gels for the final phase. If you start with them early, the effect is used up before you need it.
