The skinsuits and one-pieces from Alé from the men's range combine jersey and shorts in one garment without a waistband at the transition.
Alé skinsuits & one-pieces for men
This reduces creases around the stomach and keeps the back smooth, because no waistband pushes the top upwards. In time trials and fast rides this is measurable, at touring pace less so.
The disadvantage is less flexibility: when the temperature changes, you can only open the zip, not take off a layer.
Tip: Choose the one-piece according to the ride duration, not the look. For races and short fast sessions it has the advantage, for long tours with breaks the two-piece combination remains more practical.
