Short or long
Short-finger gloves leave the fingertips free. This gives you a direct feel for the brake and shift levers and keeps your hands cooler on warm days. Long-finger gloves cover the whole hand. On the mountain bike, they are often worn even in summer, because they protect your fingers in a fall on gravel or when you brush against branches.
If you want to match colours, you can use the brand's product lines as a guide. The Karpos glove models are intended for milder temperatures.
Tip: Choose your glove size by hand circumference, measured around the knuckles without the thumb. If the glove is too loose, a fold forms in the palm when you grip the bar, which presses on long descents.
