GripGrab: there is no bad weather, only the wrong clothing!

The origins:

GripGrab was founded in 2000 by the Kroyer family and remains family-owned to this day. The brothers wanted products that deliver high performance while being suitable for all weather conditions. As Scandinavian cyclists, they were used to cold and wet weather and couldn’t find products on the market that met their standards. Contact points such as hands and feet were particularly problematic, so the brand created overshoes and gloves that set new market standards and built a loyal fan base over the years. This fan base is affectionately called “Gripsters,” and community feedback continuously flows into product development.

Weather protection meets performance:

Scandinavia is not only famous in cycling for bad weather, but also for a thriving racing scene. At a certain point, the brand aimed not only to produce weatherproof accessories but also to optimize products for performance. Investments were made in wind tunnel testing and high-performance fabrics to produce gloves and overshoes suitable for racing.

Development with professionals:

A key factor in GripGrab’s development is the cooperation with Team Uno-X. As a Norwegian team known not only for its drive to optimize equipment but also for training in double-digit sub-zero temperatures, it perfectly matches the brand’s identity. The team tests products for both weather protection and performance and actively supports development. Some products, such as the Aero Dial Covers, were even developed specifically at the team’s request.

From accessories to apparel

Although the brand became known for its extremely high-quality and functional accessories, it expanded its range to include apparel. This defines “Scandi style”: minimalist design combined with maximum quality and performance. Reduced to the essentials, but optimized down to the smallest detail. The collection features jerseys and bib shorts in cool earthy tones, complemented by bad-weather garments such as rain and wind jackets. The layers, such as vests and jerseys, are perfectly coordinated to create an ideal combination.

The lines:

Pacr: engineered for speed, built for intensity.
Pacr products feature a close, aerodynamic fit and use the lightest and most breathable fabrics to deliver top performance in fast training sessions and races.

EXPLR:
A collection designed specifically for the trend sport of gravel riding. Practical cargo bibs, a slightly more relaxed fit, and padding developed for long-distance comfort are just some of its features. Particularly impressive: the jerseys use the natural benefits of merino wool to provide comfort even after days on ultra-events or bikepacking tours.

Ride:
The road collection for maximum everyday comfort and the perfect training feel. A cycling-oriented but not overly tight fit combined with carefully selected functional materials creates the foundation for favorite training pieces.

Pro’s Choice:
These gloves and overshoes are used by GripGrab’s professional athletes, such as Team Uno-X, combining aerodynamics with breathability and weather protection. Whether gaining the final second in a hot race or training at -20°C in Norway, this line always delivers exactly what’s needed.
The Faststream products in particular set new standards in aerodynamics and demonstrate what the brand is capable of.
