Cycling tights

Cycling tights are the choice from about 10°C downward. They reach to the ankle and close the gap that leg warmers leave at the transition.

With or without bibs

Bib tights do not slip and do not press on the belly, but they are more awkward on the road. Tights with a waistband go on and off faster and are more practical for shorter rides or everyday use.

Material grades

For the in-between season, stretch technical fabrics are enough. For winter, brushed thermal fabrics are recommended, some with windproof inserts.

Elastic hems or short zippers at the ankle keep the tights from riding up while you pedal.
