Balaclavas for cycling

A balaclava covers the head, ears, neck, and, depending on the model, parts of the face. It closes the gap between helmet and jacket collar, where cold air would otherwise get in at speed.

Under the helmet

Cycling models are cut thinner than ski versions, so that the helmet keeps more room. A hood that is too thick changes the helmet adjustment and makes the strap under the chin tight.

Breathing

A mouth area made of open material stops your breath from condensing on your glasses. With closed models, glasses fog up on the climb almost inevitably.

The balaclava is the solution for frost.
