Close filters
The Deutschland Tour is the most important German road bike cycling stage race. Initially the Deutschland Tour took place in 1911 by the name of Quer durch Deutschland (“Across Germany”). After 2008 - back then the last tour - it is now taking place again in 2018.
In August the Deutschland Tour will consist of four diverse stages and will end in Stuttgart in a grand finale. The individual stages are very diverse and lead across a total of more than 740 km. Among the participating teams we find professional cycling teams such as Bora-hansgrohe, Katusha-Alpecin, Team Sky, AG2R La Mondiale and Lotto Soudal.
At the final day there will be the additional “Jedermann Tour“ (Everyone Tour). The race for leisuretime cyclists leads through the region around the city of Stuttgart. In the footsteps of the professionals cycling sports enthusiasts can choose between a 65 km or a 111 km stage. Both distances finish in Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Wuerttemberg.
