With shoes, BOA closures offer a high level of adjustability, but also a surface for the wind to attack. Laces already have advantages here, but are still not optimal when it comes to aerodynamics. Until now, aero overshoes were the only solution, but this always came at the expense of ventilation. That is why, with the Faststream Aero, GripGrab has developed a concept that, together with aero socks, comes extremely close to the aerodynamics of an overshoe without significant losses in ventilation. The gaiters work with every type of shoe closure and still allow the micro-adjustments of BOA closures while riding.
