The entry into the aero world of Sportful! The Light 2 focuses fully on performance and the demands of ambitious cyclists. The race fit characterizes the jersey and attention is paid not only to a tight fit, but also to the ideal anatomy for low riding positions. The front waistband is cut higher in order to remain crease-free in the lower handlebars and the neckline is kept low for the same reasons and does not have a collar. Another focus during development was optimum ventilation and breathability. For this reason, the jersey uses a special micro-perforated fiber that offers similar properties to mesh, but is more aerodynamic and elastic thanks to the smaller holes, which makes the race fit possible in the first place. This material also ensures an ultra-low weight and makes the jersey the ideal choice for interval training or fast group rides in summer. The cuffs are seam-free to prevent chafing even with the tight fit, but offer perfect support thanks to a slightly firmer material.

In 1946 the the foundation of this Italian family business was laid - originally with the production of knit ware and underwear. When the son, Giordano Cremonese, some 30 years later became interested in cross-country skiing, he personally designed his skiing suit. The result caused such a sensation that in 1973, under the name of Sportful, this clothing was produced and immediately became very popular.
From 1985 on, Sportful used the experience in producing outdoor sports clothing to produce highly functional cycling clothing. Within a few years the brand prevailed among fans but also equipped the Team Mapei, the probably most successful team of the 90ies. Also Peter Sagans' success was possible because of Sportful.
Today, Sportful presents one of the best brands in cycling sports and is valued above all for its aerodynamic cuts, clear designs and highly functional products.
