With the Cadet II, Giro presents a shoe that makes it easy for beginners to get started in the sport, but also appeals to experienced cycling pioneers. The shoe offers a great fit and adjustability thanks to the Synchwire upper and BOA closure, which holds the foot securely in the shoe and ensures a direct connection to the shoe. A well-balanced power transmission is also guaranteed by the nylon reinforced fiberglass sole, not so stiff that every bump is passed on to the foot, but still stiff enough to hold its own in sprints. Micro-perforations in the upper material make the shoe extremely breathable and a two-part tongue prevents the instep from cutting in. The medium arch support contributes to the comfortable feel of the shoe, as does the anatomical but not overly narrow heel area.
