In the beginning the hydration pack was laughed at - but then this simple and ingenious idea set out to conquer the world.
When Michael Eidson participated in the 1988 "Hotter'N Hell 100" race in Texas, he had an innovative idea. He filled an IV bag with water, and slipped it into a sock, which he then put into his backpack and attached a thin tube over his shoulder, letting him drink while riding. The idea of the hydration pack was born!
It was not easy to get the company started, and the men behind Camelbak were often laughed at and not taken seriously. However, the Camelbak hydration system has now become an integral part of the world of sports, with several companies using this simple and ingenious system in their products.

Die CAMELBACK TRINKFLASCHE PODIUM CHILL 710 ML WEISS hält, was sie verspricht: das Volumen hält bei mäßigem Trinkkonsum für Trainingsfahrten von bis zu 2,5 Stunden, während die Isolierschicht die Flüssigkeit selbst bei anfänglichen sommerlichen Temperaturen ebenso lange auf Temperatur hält. (Für den Hochsommer sind die CAMELBACK TRINKFLASCHEN PODIUM ICE zu empfehlen. Diese halten das Getränk noch länger konstant auf Temperatur.)
