The official helmet of Team UAE ADQ! The new MET Trenta 3k represents a revolution compared to its predecessor. It’s not lighter or more aerodynamic, but it is significantly safer and more breathable! MET uses feedback and helmets from the team’s race crashes to analyze why concussions are on the rise in the sport. They’ve incorporated the findings of this research into the new helmet. The result is a helmet that’s 40% safer in rotational and linear impacts than its already safe predecessor! This is aided by the carbon skeleton that runs through the entire helmet, turning it into a true high-tech weapon, and the integration of MIPS Air—the lightest and most ventilated MIPS system. All this development has paid off, and the Trenta 3K is one of the only road bike helmets on the market to achieve a five-star rating in the Virginia Tech Safety Rating! Despite increased safety, ventilation has been improved by 16%—and this is coming from what was perhaps already the best-ventilated helmet on the market. The external ventilation ports were specifically designed to also serve as a glasses holder.
